New EP from The Eastern Wave

A brand new 2-track EP from The Eastern Wave is now available for streaming & purchase via our bandcamp page. The "Populate" EP showcases somewhat of a new direction for the band, while still retaining some of the signature elements that they've established in the 2 prior releases. Thus far, comparisons have been made to Neurosis, The Jesus Lizard, Fugazi and Frodus..so you can guess what kind of direction the band has moved in since the addition of Kevin Nowak (Liquid Limbs) on drums.

All 100 cassette copies of this release have their own unique artwork, and buyers can actually select their own copy if desired - each one was individually photographed & posted in the pictures section below the release listing on bandcamp. If purchasing online, an immediate download of the 2 songs will follow the transaction. If you decide to wait and pick one up at a TEW show, they'll be packaged with a download code.

Good to be back.

Slowly but surely, the entire CCR back catalog is being salvaged from the rubble of my CD collection and old hard drives..and it feels great sifting through all of these memories. I'm hard at work uploading certain releases to our bandcamp page, and getting ready for this new era of ComputerClubness. As you can see, everything is getting a much-needed makeover.

The releases will be either free to download or purchaseable via bandcamp and bigcartel. I can't stress how stoked I am. Tons in the works.

And in all his glory, the original CCR logo...Hawkeye:
